Respect every traveller, and women most of all
Be kind and humble with everyone you meet on Batasari, and take extra care with women. No harassment, threats, hate, sexual messages or anything that makes someone uncomfortable - and when someone says no, or doesn't answer, leave it there. Never message, follow or pressure a woman who hasn't accepted your connect request; no comments on her looks, no unwanted photos, and no asking for her number or address. Women-only trips, and women who chose Women in Connect, are for women only. Harassing a woman brings severe action: the account is suspended or closed, and we report it to the police where the law requires.
Be real
Use your real name and a photo of you, and keep to one account. Fake profiles, or pretending to be someone else, get accounts closed.
No scams
Never ask anyone to pay up front for a trip, a seat or a room, and never pay a stranger in advance. Pay only your share of what you've actually spent together, through Split costs. Batasari never asks for your OTP or UPI PIN - don't share them with anyone.
Stay safe
Meet in a public place first, tell someone at home your plans, and use the Safety tools in the app. In an emergency, call 112.
Post what's yours, and what's okay
No illegal, hateful, sexual, violent or misleading posts, no spam or advertising, and no one else's photo or personal details without their permission.
Report and block
If something feels wrong, report it or block the person from the ⋮ menu. Our safety team looks at every report, and can remove content and suspend accounts that break these guidelines or our Terms.
